Information About Xoom x PayPal Service

So this morning I was checking out videos of my favorite YouTubers and I came across Mikey Bustos' vlog of the behind the scenes for the commercial he was doing with Xoom. He mentioned Xoom a PayPal Service. I finished the vlog and after that, I searched online for the product service of Paypal and Xoom.

As you all know I am a Paypal user and my account with them was for years now. I accept and issue payments using my Paypal account and also linked that account to some of the money transfer services which I can withdraw money from.

I have heard of Xoom many times but I am not aware of the service, never tried it before.

As a Paypal user, I always look for ways to have my money on that account be withdrawn or cash out anytime I want with easy transfer of course and fewer charges. So, I am looking into this service and checked out the process for requesting money from family abroad.

This is a great service and a way to make the online-money transaction easy breezy.

No need to set-up a bank account which can eat up most of the clients time falling in long-lines during banking hours or be cut-off of the bank's limited time. 

So, the idea looks feasible and great. But, when I checked my Paypal account I couldn't find the tab that says send money to family and friends internationally.

I am seeing the same version of send and request money. I am not sure why or an update is needed or maybe the Xoom via Paypal only caters to specific Paypal account users only?

This is my next step to discover and find a solution so I can try and test this service for real.

Shopping for Food Online

Please don't get tired of my online shopping adventure posts. This is just a way to share to you guys my latest find and how you can get food online on discounted price and sometimes almost free! 

Food budget can take the biggest part of our monthly income. Nowadays we need to be smart and find ways on how to get some food essentials specially the ones that your family loves to eat.

Here is my latest online shopping gig from Takatack.com, and of course me doing online shopping comes with a big discount and a free shipping. 

What I like about Takatack.com is that they offer imported food for customers to buy and the variety of brands are good. 

Spam hot and spicy and original flavors were my first on my cart and I added the Peter Pan creamy peanut butter and 2 litre bottle of Kewpie roasted sesame dressing.

My first taste of Kewpie roasted sesame dressing was from the dinner gathering at my friends house. She mentioned that it was given to her by a friend and since it is a little bit pricey than the other brands of salad dressing I was a bit hesitant to buy in the grocery. Good thing Takatack through Spice Island trading who supplies imported brand of food to that website, had an available bottles of this dressing for me to buy! :)

I made two transactions and from this I was able to buy a Masflex non-stick aluminum induction crepe pan. I blogged it here you can check it out and see how I am loving my crepe pan. 

The food shopping I made was a little over my weekly budget for food but since I paid using my Paypal credits I got the items almost for free. Why free you may ask... because Paypal balance I save over time was from my trusted earn money online sites. 

I am happy when I can restock up my pantry and knowing I have food we can use when needed.

What's In The Mail?

Over the weekend I was tracking some of the packages I am expecting to arrive this week. Since weekend for me is the time I go online less than my usual, I did not pay much attention to it. 

Not until yesterday morning when I tracked down all of the packages I was waiting. 

The good thing about how customers and clients can track their pouches and boxes for delivery, you can get the status to where and to what approximate date it will arrive. 

Below are the photos of the three packages came in at the same time.

All these were delivered to my office address since I am here most of the time.

The plastic pouches that made me happy were delivered to me.

I love the feeling of opening pouches packages and the like though some were kind of a surprise and some of it was anticipated way before.

What's in the mail?

The first pouch contains a part of my online shopping delivery from Lazada during last week's #10BIGAPP sale. I bought this Oral-B Classic Ultra Clean Wave Trim toothbrush with buy 2 get one free for Php108.00 just to complete and to avail the Php1,000 minimum purchase for a free shipping delivery. And, since I like to stock up toothbrushes at home these items comes very usefully. And check out those shampoo and hair conditioner and body washes sachet samples that come with the item for FREE! 

As of this writing, the box was delivered, here is my HP DeskJet 1112 printer. This will be used for homework and other school-related stuff the kid's needs. I'll be doing an unboxing blog post for this one...soon. Btw, I got this printer for only Php891.00. A total steal with lots of savings! 

Paid for this stuff using my Paypal balance from my earn money online gigs which means I get the items almost free! No money from my own pocket was used. :)

The second pouch is this red envelope containing Php3,000 worth of SM Gift Card.

This was a payment from a blog sponsorship which I am very thankful for. I will be using this next month for a special occasion. #blessings 

The third is this prize package from blog contest courtesy of acodeza.com. I got all these awesome goodies and most especially the David Jones purse with interchangeable wrist strap.

I love the bag because of the chic envelope design and the color can be matched in any colors possible.

It also has a zipper compartment inside and another one outside, which I can use. Last night when I got home I doubled check the purse again I checked if I can fit the iPad Air inside...and yes it fits perfectly!

We have been a Globe postpaid subscribers for years now and I can say that our relationship with this telecom became sweet and sour. From the low-signal bandwidth to slow internet connection was one of those. 

But, when bad side came up at the time there is a good side as well. One of our postpaid accounts accumulated points from the payments made for several months and redeemed it for a Bench merchandise to pay less from the original cost.

I can't wait to earn money here to help out my charities here in the Philippines especially this coming school year where school kids of less fortunate cannot afford to buy the basic necessities such as footwear and clothing. In the past years, I was able to join to some of the community services that my friends organized. 

We were able to buy 1,700 meters of reinforced water hoses that were connected to the main source kilometers apart from Sitio Timak, were children and elders need to walk to get a potable water they need for drinking and cooking. Alongside, we also gave the children new pair of slippers to protect their feet while walking through the steep and rugged terrain of the mountainside. They were able to use also those slippers to go to school.







After that year, we also visited an underprivileged Aeta community of Bagong Silang, San Isidro Zambales which composed of elders, mothers and young kids. In this community, the simplest human necessity lacks, from water, food, and shelter. Kids depend on rainwater to sustain thirst and hunger. 

As a mother, I always feel sad by the situation where kids cannot have food to eat, a decent and comfortable shelter for them to go to. This goes all over the world were deprived kids go hungry- a worldwide problem. Thanks for Giving Assistant for coming up with this program to offer food for the hungry. How to Withdraw your Coins.ph Funds via eGiveCash Security BankCardless ATM Transaction

So, here is my blog about my first withdrawal transaction using my Coins.Ph funds to a Security Bank Cardless ATM process. 

Months ago I was introduced to websites where I can earn bitcoins, those bitcoins can be transferred to this online wallet called Coins.ph . I have been doing several task online to earn bitcoins and recently I won $30 for a single tweet for the #GratitudeForYou campaign of Changetip.com. When I got prize, I had an option if I want to transfer it to my Paypal or by Coins.ph account. Since I wanted to try the how the withdrawal transaction of Coins.Ph, I transferred the funds there. 

I waited for 24 hours for the fund in the Coins.ph wallet before I made the withdrawal.

Here is the step:

   5.  In less than a minute I received an email containing the passcode number I need to enter in the atm machine plus an SMS with the 16-digit code also needed to be entered in the atm machine. 

The transaction I made will prompt right away in My Wallet dashboard which I can easily track.

The email I got within a few seconds of the withdrawal, with the 4 digit passcode and other information needed in the ATM withdrawal later.

Another email informing me that the order I made for the Coins.ph Cardless ATM Security Bank withdrawal payout has been successfully processed.

I requested for the amount of P1,900 and take note, the amount in your coins.ph if it is in you Bitcoin wallet will go up and down depending on the gold exchange rate in the market. And as of today, this is the highest amount of my bitcoin funds that I converted right away with peso amount.
