What are the health advantages of drinking ginger tea on a regular basis?

Ginger's use isn't limited to food preparation; it also has a long history of therapeutic advantages when consumed regularly.

The ginger root is also referred to as the rhizome. It's a tangled root with light brown skin and slightly yellow, juicy flesh on the inside. Ginger root can be found anywhere that sells vegetables and fresh produce, including the fresh section of most supermarkets.

Since the ginger root is abundant and sells for less at the flea market, I purchased more than 3 kilograms of ginger root for only Php200/USD4, as well as a bundle of lemongrass for Php45/$1.

I'll boil the two together to make ginger and lemongrass tea, and this amount will last us several weeks.

How do you like your ginger tea?

I prefer it to boil without the addition of lemon or honey. I also enjoy the pungent flavor of ginger, which I prepare by peeling the skin slightly and slicing it very thinly. Cook for a few minutes (3-5minutes), or until the ginger is aromatic and cooked. This is how I make my ginger tea.
