Six months ago, I awoke and determined to begin losing weight. Seeing my body age and all of the hormonal abnormalities that occur as a result of menopause made me more motivated to push.
The first month was difficult; I sucked myself into this "Calorie Deficit Diet" by eliminating excess food consumption. I enjoyed food so much that it became one of my comfort zones. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with different recipes. However, I've learnt that you may eat and enjoy everything you want, as long as you do it in moderation. Moving on to the second month of my weight loss program, I began with little exercises and steps to get me started. I can state that a calorie deficit and 30 minutes to an hour of exercise 5-6 days a week are effective for me.
I am now on my six months today!
I lost almost 10 kilos, and I can move, jog and jump. I am proud of myself, *tapping myself on the back*
Good job, Agnes!
I started my Monday with an hour of workout at home, so happy!
