How to Skip Washing Your Hair by Using Dry Shampoo

Convenience and time saving are the two purposes when using a can of dry shampoo. Dry shampoo will save you a lot of time and effort if you know how to use it. Dry shampoos are particularly useful on hectic weekday mornings or you want to flaunt your hair when you need to head to the office or run errands and don't have time to wash your hair. The extra oil and dirt that causes your hair to appear dry and limp can be absorbed by powdered shampoo. It also eliminates the odor of unwashed hair and adds texture and bounce to your hair strands.

In this post, I want to share with you all my experience in using this brand of dry shampoo from TRESemmé.

However, there is a science about using dry shampoo on your hair. If you use it so much, your hair will turn dull. If you use so little, your hair will look untidy. Furthermore, if you use the incorrect powdered shampoo, it will appear that you haven't washed your hair. So, how do you go about applying powder shampoo? Keep reading to find out.

1. Before applying dry shampoo to your skin and hair, wash your hands thoroughly. You won't be contributing to the dirt and oil in your hair if you keep your hands washed.

2. Spray the liquid shampoo straight onto your roots if it arrives in an aerosol container. Scoop them into the palm of your hand if you're using a regular bottle. Usually, one tablespoon of shampoo is adequate to clean your scalp and roots.

3. Use your fingertips to firmly rub your scalp. This means that the dry shampoo absorbs all extra sebum or debris in your hair. Continue massaging the scalp until all of the dry shampoos have melted.

4. Brush your hair six times. Brushing your hair will remove any powdered shampoo that has stayed in your hair. It would also make your hair shine and smooth out any tangles.

5. Add a nourishing hair conditioner to the roots as a leave-on procedure. The conditioner will give your hair more shine and volume. It would also have the nutrients that your roots and scalp need to keep your hair healthy. Make sure the conditioner is just applied to your roots. If you use so much conditioner, your hair can get soft and thick.

6. Do whatever you want for your hair. If your hair seems to be dull, apply hair serum only to the ends of your hair.

7. When using a powder shampoo, think of the color of your hair. You should use untinted dry shampoo if you have light-colored hair. The powder will blend in perfectly with your hair. If you have darker hair, you may want to use a tinted shampoo that suits your hair color. You won't have to think about bits of shampoo ending up in your hair if you do it this way. Use untinted powder shampoo if you can't find a tinted dry shampoo that closely suits your hair color.

If you're frequently too busy to wash your hair, dry shampoo is a fantastic tool to have on hand. You will have clean-feeling hair for days on end if you know how to use dry shampoo and have the right formula for your hair.
