How to apply Magnetic Eyeliner and Eyelashes for Beginners

 Hi guys! How are you all doing? I hope each and everyone in the family is safe. 

For this post, I will be sharing with you all my first-time experience in applying a Magnetic eyeliner and eyelashes. 

This is the second time I tried applying and wearing false eyelashes but the first one was just minutes upon application and it did not stick or I wasn't able to wear it for the whole event. It was the basic falsies where I bought from a beauty store for me to try out. Since it did not give me the eyelashes and the purpose I was looking for falsies I said to myself not to wear and buy falsies again. But, I was wrong I gave in to another shot of falsies and got myself not just one pair but five! haha! 

So last 9.9 shopping spree we initially checked these magnetic eyelashes with eyeliner at Lazada but the price made us switch to Shopee. Price comparison; Lazada 368 pesos - Shopee 252 pesos, so Shopee it is!

After 11 days my magnetic eyelashes arrived and disinfected it how many times with soap and water and alcohol too before I used and applied it. 

Here is the video of the review and application. Please bear with me as this is my first time applying to use and apply these lashes. Maybelline Colorshow Lipsticks in Nude Mocha + True Toffee

It was a payday shopping day for me yesterday! 

This past few days I was hopping around beauty selling sites to scout for some tube of lipstick which I was planning to buy. I do have some Zalora credits on my account and some items on my cart which I picked a few weeks ago. But, I was hesitant to use my credits thinking I might get some more items I needed. So, I decided to buy items I wanted in the physical store using cash. And, because it was payday and a Wednesday too, I purchased items from SM City Olongapo which gave me 10% off the total with the minimum of P2,000 purchase. 

I went to the home section, to women's and down to Watson's area were make-ups and toiletries are located and that was my last pit stop from last night. 

I am excited about these new tubes of lipstick I got from Maybelline. After several swatches of the tester items. I decided to get the Maybelline Colorshow collection in #305 Nude Mocha and #301 True Toffee. This is the shade of colors in season right now. 

You see those creamy nice colors? Yep, they are truly nice to look at. They look yummy! lol 

I made swatches to compare and the one on the top is the True Toffee shade and Nude Mocha was at the bottom. 

I couldn't resist to apply it on my lips last night though I look so tired! I took some selfies using a filter camera app to lighten my skin...I don't want to present my haggard-looking face while testing out some beautiful shades of lipstick, haha!

As you can see I split the application of the two lipstick. The one in the left-facing you are the Nude Mocha and in the right the True Toffee shade.

Also, I chose the Nude Mocha shade for my lip color this morning at work and it looks exactly the same as the color in the tube as to when applied to the lips. 

I am a Maybelline user, I still have a few of the lipsticks I own from a beauty blogger from the Rebel Bouquet selection unopened. I am saving a few of those in case I need some shade of pink to red in the future. For a friendly price of Php 175.00 per tube of Maybelline Colorshow, I can say this is the most affordable, over the counter brand of lipstick which everyone can avail. It is creamy, glides perfectly, the color stays for hours though it is not a kiss-proof lipstick.  Maybelline Colorshow collection does have a good selection of shade one can choose from. 

Btw, you need to excuse my eye make-up from this photo. I can never do justice with lashes because mine is so thin and sparse. I need to find the best eyelash serum product in the market for me to try on. I am positive it will give me that added lashes I dreamt of! 

I spent a little with the brand I like and made my self smile. :)

Glam-Up your Hair Style using Hair Wigs

I can manage this hairstyle with the added hair wig. I can tie it up while going to the plenary and let it lose and style it up a little to show-off those nice natural looking curls. 

For a start, half wigs can be manageable to start with. I can barely notice the hair wig in that photo. 

In my understanding half wigs are being worn or placed half of the entire hair, it should be blended into natural hair to get that lovely looking locks.

Review on Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight

When will I learn, no matter how I try...I am not good and okay with lip tints!

I went with my impulsive self again when I purchased this tube of Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight over at Althea Korea Ph. My blogger friend asked me if I wanted some items at the site so we can purchase items in one shipping. She had some items on her cart and needed a few more to reach the minimum amount of order to get the free shipping. Since I have some items on her that she will be sending me, I decided to grab the chance and experience another beauty online shopping site. 

One of the items was this Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight tube Php150 per tube on a sale price, I thought of getting this several times because lip tints aren't my thing. But, yeah the impulsive-self made me do it haha! 

Here is my personal review for this.

Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight in clear tubing, black twistable cap. I love how chic and simple the bottle design. 

It took us a week for the package to be delivered as stated on the site it will be ship from Korea, taking note of all items are made from Korea. I was kind of excited about this one!

The head of the cap has this heart shape which is so cute!

It has a soft brush applicator which glides smoothly, but the amount of the tint is too much when applied, giving the tint a smudged look. Also, the color is so different from the websites sample color. It doesn't match my skin tone. I am the one to blame here.

When I dabbed the tint at the back of my hand it gave me this glossy bright red color. And because it is a tint lip color it needed to leave a stain color to serve its purpose. 

Rubbed off several times using a dry tissue and this is what I got. A tint mark from the tested amount applied. It looked good when this was applied at the back of my hand by on my lips it's a different thing. I will insert a photo of me using this product after I locate that selfie I took from my phone. 

The tint separated colors from my lips leaving a darker red on my outer lip line and a light shade of red in the inner lip. This is normally my issue about tints, it doesn't cover the full lips. 

After I tested the tint once I have no plans on using it again, might give it away to a friend who wants it.

Again, this is my personal take on the product Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight, the product was bought by my own money and review is 100% mine. 

I know some girls are into tints and lucky them! :)

Etude House #7 Every Month Cleansing Foam- Review

Because I was on an extended Christmas vacation, I had a chance to check on my stock box. I call my ever dependable Rubbermaid storage bin as my stock box, which I put all my beauty and health products I got online for review and mostly prizes. From make-up, body lotions, body washes, hair products, and even nail polishes I have it there. I always feel delighted when I checked my stock box, knowing I got all those items for free! (happy dance here hehe)

I knew last night was the right time to open this Etude House #7 every month cleansing foam. Don't be confused with the number 7 in the product, initially, I was. After reading the front and back label there was nothing explains if the product should be used once every month. I went with my gut feeling and decided that the product says is not as literal as we understand it. Since it is a facial foam we can use it daily.

In the front label indicated aloe vera with soothing relief effect. (sorry for the paper sticker which is a little worn out because it was compressed in the bin)

At the back of the tube, there is an instruction on how to use it in Korean characters and also translated into English.

This is a soothing type of cleansing foam that has aloe vera extract that soothes skin. The aloe vera extract is known for its excellent moisturizing and soothing capabilities.

I squeezed a small amount of the product, a semi-gel formed, slightly turbid in color and the scent of the aloe vera can be distinguished right away. 

The scent was like a freshly cut aloe vera stalk and exposing the gel paste in between the leaf skin. I remember the exact scent when I was a little kid and saw my grandmother who used to picked aloe vera in the afternoon and squeezing the gel paste rubbing it to her scalp. As she told us that it can cure hair loss and hair growth can achieve with continued use (little childhood memories I had with my Nanay-grandmother).

Following the direction for use at the back of the label, it says, 

• wet face, dispense a small amount of Cleansing Foam onto hands.
• lather and apply to face, gently massaging the entire area.
• rinse all thoroughly with lukewarm water.

The gel is a little bit sticky and when I rubbed it in the palm of my hand it did not create any lather at all. I applied it to my face and still, the gel has this sticky feel. Plus, it was hard to rinse it off compared to Ponds facial wash I use for years I felt the difference. I was waiting for some side-effect of the product Luckily my skin managed to adapt to it. Nothing felt itchy or any redness of my skin. 

I will still continue the use of the cleansing foam although I dislike how it takes time to rinse it off. There is a precaution also listed at the back to discontinue use if swelling and you feel itchy and skin irritation. Keep out of reach of children and for external use only.
