How To Renew Your Nurse PRC License at SM Malls

A month before my four-day weekend leave one of the things I included in my things to do was to renew my PRC license. And, to make myself not going to the trouble of going to Manila is to renew it at SM City Olongapo... thank God for this!

My Nurse PRC license expired last December 13, 2015, and I made a couple of days before it hits expiration although you can renew it earlier than that.

You will be needing the following:

1. PRC Registration form- You can download the form like I did or you can ask the customer representative at SM to give you one. Fill-up the necessary information such as your name, mailing address, registration date, examination date and others. It is the same form when we first made our registration, also mark the box shown in the arrow. Mine is for renewal.

2. One Passport size photo- Attached one passport size recent photo with white background, with name tag and it is necessary that you wear a shirt with a collar. SM rep will again take a picture of you using their own camera for verification and attachment to their online system.

3. Old PRC License card- You need to bring with you your old PRC license when applying for renewal. SM rep will verify it along with your registration form.

4. Payment- You need to pay Php500.00 total for the renewal processing (P450 for the PRC license renewal and P50 for the service fee).

Once the requirements are submitted and payment's done, the cashier told me to wait for 2-3 months for the releasing of my PRC card. She told me that I will be receiving a text is the card is ready for pickup. Keep your receipt of payment because you will need that in claiming your card. The process took me 15 minutes total excluding the hard copy id photo process.

If you are not in a hurry and want to avoid the hassle of traveling to Manila and spend thrice the amount this is the most convenient way to renew your PRC license, although they don't accept all professions for renewal. Some needed to go to PRC office such as the Engineering licensee.

I hope this blog post will be helpful to my co-nurses around.

Taking Gifting to the Next Level

Christmas is truly our favorite season of the year and it is fast approaching. The season of merriment, joyful celebrations such as reunions and gatherings, receiving and accepting gifts is one of the best parts of it.
Speaking of gifts, If you were you're going to be asked for your Christmas wish list, what would it be?

For me, my simply extravagant wish list for this Christmas would be a combination of a technology upgrade, a two-wheeled to go equipment and a baking aid.

When I started my world online I was not that very particular with the technology I am using. I started using a desktop at home doing usual online browsing plus some social media activities. Before I never knew that I needed more but as time and technology progress I needed a fast-reliable and that can catch up with the demand of my blogging world. Also, the benefit of bringing it anywhere I go. This Asus Zenbook UX 305CA is the perfect notebook I can wish for this Christmas.

One of my passion is cooking and baking. I find it as a relaxing activity especially when I share it with my kids. With this baking oven, I can create any sweet dessert for the sweet tooth creatures I have at home... well, they got it from me, haha! From cakes to muffins to simple bread would be a click away from them to enjoy. Who knows this time I can get my wish from Santa SM! :)

My last wish and I think might be granted with a little more patience and work is a new mountain bike which I can use to get in shape and go around road biking like I used to do before when I had so many available time in my hands. My first on my Christmas wish list.

My eldest son is a sporty teenager, from soccer to badminton to table tennis he never gets tired. This is the perfect gift idea I have for him and it is a pricey gift idea but I know he will go ecstatic to receive his own GoPro Hero set for Christmas.

For my daughter, this pink FujiFilm Instax Mini8 would be the best gift she can receive this Christmas although she knows this pink Instax camera is pricey she still hopes to get one of this. Gift ideas for girls are limitless as long as it is
Pink cute you can go with it. :)

With all the Christmas wish and ideas that I mentioned above, there is also a part of giving back and sharing some to others especially to those in need.

Giving a portion of what you have is the biggest to someone. I and my kids have this simple act of kindness for the past years to give out their old and new clothes, toys, and food to less fortunate kids in an Aeta community. Kanawan village is a small village 90 minutes away from the city. You can get there via land transportation and a 30-minute trek up the hill. This year we will be doing the same thing send out toys and clothes to some children there and give a little smile on their faces.

In the photos below are the previous gift gifting to the community along with some sponsors and with my photography buddies whose passion is to create wonderful photos and can bring smiles to people regardless of what they have in life? We shoot, we share and we care.
Same as what SM upholds its tagline... SM Cares! "There's joy in giving this Christmas!"

Since we will be needing more items to give away this Christmas to the community, I am happy to find out that SM will give out discounted prices from toys to clothes to even gift baskets which we can avail at a less cost.  We can spend more and can give out more in quantity.

*** all photos are sole property of yours truly (aadcphotography)

The smiles can never be brought by any amount of money we have, the joy that we can give can be stretch a thousand times to every single kid in this community.
