Celebrating my One Year Anniversary of my Weight Loss Journey

One of the toughest things to do, so the saying goes, is to lose weight. If you were to take into account all the variables that affect your body, such as age, hormones, metabolism, food intake, and the like, you would not realize that your body is no longer healthy.

When I woke up one day, I made the decision to do something about my weight gain.
Seeing how dry my skin was, all the build-up cellulites in my thighs and the largest measurement of my waistline I had in my life, were the trigger points.

During a few months of sticking to my low-calorie diet, I started doing a regular workout at home.
After ten minutes of stationary walking, I started dancing. I first used my favorite fitness and dance videos from TikTok and Youtube, and later I created my own workout routines using my favorite music. My training regimen became enjoyable as I discovered that I shouldn't push myself and instead enjoy the regular exercises that my body and mind appreciate. That ten-minute walk turned into an hour-long dance and fitness routine that I did four or five times a week.

Every step I took, every drop of sweat I shed, every inch I took was all for my own health and as a present to myself as I approach my 50th birthday this year! :)

Seeing my progress felt amazing, and I did well! (tears of joy)
I conquered my fear.

The journey continues!

Be consistent and stay focus,

You can do it too!
