Six months ago, in September 2023, my stomach looked like this. One of my self-challenges was my weight, which even got worse when my premenopausal stage set in. Although this wasn't my highest body weight, it was a challenge for me this time. I felt grumpy, tired and anxious even in the morning after waking up. But it's never too late to try and change things for the better in terms of my body.
As of March 2024, this is how my body and tummy look, (side by side comparison).
How did I do it?
By reducing my food intake- following a diet low in calories and incorporating workout exercises for 30 to 45 minutes, 4-5 times a week. Following dance and exercise videos on YouTube and TikTok, sometimes just by walking in place or kembot-kembot (shaking hips). 🙂
Btw, I can now do jumping jacks again! 😃
Doing all these in my own pace, in my own time.
To all the women in the world, Happy Women's Day!
