I walked 15,000 steps this morning!

Instead of working out in the morning at home, I chose to go for an early walk this morning. I told myself I would walk for 30 minutes, so I decided to add more when I got to 30, 45, and more, resulting in a total of 1 hour and 50 minutes!

It was my first time walking in this direction, and because it's the main road and there are a lot of early-morning commuters, it was a little scary. However, the morning was windy, and I could see the sun rising in the direction I was going. It was fulfilling, exhausting, and exciting.

To my surprised, when I got home, I Googled the distance, and the step count I made. It was 9.1 kilometers from my home to Lincoln Heights, Bataan. And, I made 15,000 (fifteen thousand) steps in 1 hour and 50 minutes! I also checked the calorie burn I made and based on the computation with the pace, time and distance, calories burned were around 500, not bad!

I was surprised to find out how far it was and how many steps I had taken. I Googled it when I arrived home, from my house to Lincoln Heights, Bataan, it was 9.1 kilometers. And with one hour and fifty minutes, I completed 15,000 (fifteen thousand) steps! I also made a calculation of calories burned, and it came out to be about 500, not bad considering the pace, time, and distance. Also, coming from a 12 hour fasting.

So, where to walk next? :)

  4. Wow, that sounds like an amazing morning walk! It's impressive how you went beyond your initial plan and ended up with such a fulfilling experience. Walking along a new route can indeed be both exciting and a bit nerve-wracking, especially with all those early-morning commuters. But it sounds like the wind and the sunrise added a beautiful touch to your journey.

Discovering the distance you covered and the number of steps you took must have been quite surprising! 9.1 kilometers and 15,000 steps is quite an accomplishment, especially in just under two hours. And burning around 500 calories on top of a 12-hour fast is definitely something to be proud of.

As for where to walk next, the possibilities seem endless! Maybe you could explore a different direction or find a new trail to venture down. Whatever you choose, I'm sure it will be another rewarding journey filled with discovery and maybe even a few surprises along the way. Keep up the fantastic work!
