PSA Certificate Online Application and Delivery: A Step-by-Step Guide

We were supposed to go to our local PSA office before the pandemic to get birth certificates for a trip that had been cancelled due to the world health crisis of 2020.

Our documents were cancelled, and our travel plans were put on hold. People can travel again now that the majority of people have been vaccinated and COvid-19 cases are lower than before.

I'm excited to share what I discovered: you can request and receive certificates from PSA-NSO online, and documents will be delivered to your preferred address anywhere in the Philippines—you can even request certificates for family members!

PSAHelpline.ph allows you to order a PSA birth, marriage, death, or CENOMAR certificate online and have it delivered to your door anywhere in the Philippines. It's the quickest and most convenient method to acquire your PSA credentials in days, with multiple payment options and customer service channels to help you along the process.

You can enjoy the convenience of a PSA birth certificate online application and acquire your PSA credentials in the comfort and safety of your own home with only a few clicks. The ordering procedure is simple and can be completed on a computer or a mobile device. The PSA certificates are only given to the rightful owner or authorised requester if a valid identification is presented.

Let me walk you through the procedure step by step based on my own experience:

  1. Go to your browser (mobile or computer) and type in psahelpline.ph, then this will appear.

  • Nationwide delivery of PSA certificates (3-4 working days within Metro Manila; 3-8 working days outside Metro Manila).

  • Click the ORDER NOW button.

  1. Choose the Certificate Type: Birth, Marriage, Death, or CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage). Accept the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy before hitting the Next button.

What we require are updated copies of our birth certificates, which I will secure on behalf of my children.

The following information was needed in this step:

  • Your name, sex, birthday, and valid government-issued ID
  • Your name as it appears on your birth certificate
  • Your father’s name
  • Your mother’s name
  • Your birthplace
  • Late registration (if applicable)
  • The purpose of your request
  • Legal proceedings (if applicable)
  • Your delivery address and contact information

3. Input all the necessary details and proceed to the next page.
*** Select the preferred government issued ID you have. You need to present this to the delivery man.
*** Make sure you confirm all the complete and correct details for your full name that will appear on your request, that can’t be changed.
4. Input father’s and mother’s name on the next pages.
5. Choose from the drop down menus for the birth place location.
6. Certificate of late registration- you need to validate this portion for easy verification.
7. Purpose of the request- choose from the items listed.
8. Legal proceedings- choose from the items listed if there were any legal proceedings from the time or prior to the registration.
9. The last part of the application would be confirming all the details and the delivery address, double check everything.
10. Payment options- you can choose from any of the online payments available. For the birth certificate request, we paid Php365.00/order.

Take note of the following time frames for the delivery of your request for delivery reminders.

Because we are not in a rush for PSA paperwork, I found PSAHelpline.ph to be helpful. With just a few taps on my phone, I can process requests at home. I'll be sharing this with my mommy friends in my MommyBloggersPhilippines groups!

On May 4th, I requested birth certificates for myself, my son, and my daughter. The first two orders arrived on May 18th, and the last one arrived the next day. The entire procedure took 14 days (including weekends).
