Halespot First Anniversary Dinner Buffet

Raise your hand if you like trying out a new buffet restaurant! I and my kids love to go to buffet restaurants especially if it is newly open or trying it ours for the first time. Well, basically we just love food. I love to bring my kids to restaurants for them to try out different dishes and be adventurous when it comes to food. I like them to try everything as long as it is edible haha!

These photos were from last month,  we tried this buffet restaurant Halespot Diner located in Magsaysay Drive, Olongapo City.
Exactly the day I decided to bring my kids there was also the restaurant's first year anniversary. And, to celebrate the event they doubled the food they were offering from the regular buffet day for only Php200 (approx $4.50) per head.

Whenever it's a buffet you can always count my son to enjoy and feast on almost anything, unlike my daughter who was a little selective on the food in the buffet station...but she always goes for the dessert station more than anything.

Enjoy the food photos below...
The restaurant opened around 5 pm and some customers were inside already. We were like the first 10 customers that time. I had time to take photos of the stations before the guests feast on everything. :)
The main buffet station

The daughter gave a thumbs-up for the "overwhelming" food?
Halespot also prepared a photo booth wall for their customers that day. You can have your picture taken for solo or group shots.
The drinks station: sodas
coffee
fruit punch
Nestea and Red tea
soup corner
salad (macaroni, vegetables, and Waldorf), pickled papaya (atchara) and some dressings.
white rice and Pancit Canton
spaghetti
buttered vegetables
Pinakbet ( Ilokano dish of bitter grout, eggplant with bagoong or fermented fish sauce)
Chopseuy
Fried vegetable lumpia + vinegar for dipping (my favorite!)
Fish fillet with tartar sauce
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Shanghai lumpia, my son loved this.
Chicken Pastel
Embutido
Menudo
Crispy Pork Sisig, according to one of the staff this is their popular dish. This is not being offered daily on a regular buffet days. It was good! The taste is nice and the meat was tender.
Igado
Pork barbeque
Beef Kare-kare and vegetables on the side
dessert station: Buko Pandan + Banana cake, watermelon
Mango and Sweet corn gelatin (jelly pudding)
banana and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and cookie sticks.

With the amount of food, they offer that night from soups to drinks to dessert guests and customers did enjoy the anniversary buffet.

Congratulations to the owners and staff!
Have you been to a buffet restaurant lately? I hope it was a good one too.
Btw, this is not a sponsored post. We paid for our meal that night. :)
